Brandy will pay $50 million of civil grievance
1 February 2007R&B singer Brandy Rayana Norwood, known as Brandy is charged with murder of the woman (38-year-old Awatef Aboudihaj). Brandy was awarded her first Grammy in 1999 and then she managed to represent five albums.
At the present moment Brandy is having great problems with the law. The singer has knock down the women and now meets other legal claims.
The California Highway Patrol recommended the prosecutors, considering Brandy’s case a charge which bears the maximal imprisonment for one, year. The patrol has carried a case to the Los Angeles City Court which will settle on whether to support these charges.
After the accident, the suffered woman has been hospitalized with “serious” damages and has died next day.
The investigators have excluded alcohol and drugs as car-crush factors and they said that there was no sign, that Brandy used a cellular telephone or differently has been abstract. Brandy has completely cooperated with the researchers. During the accident, nobody thought, that Aboudihaj’s injuries would lead to death.
Now, Brandy is sued for $50 million for the death of the woman.
The Awatef Aboudihaj family’s attorney, Lotfy Mrich, said that no money would compensate Awatef’s death.
