Experts are surprised with “Oscar’s” results
26 February 2007Present “Oscar’s” results have surprised both experts and spectators. The indisputable favorites have remained in a shadow, and the main awards have been collected by the movies and actors for whom nobody especially hoped.
“Dreamgirls” musical, nominated for 8 gold figurines at once and “Babylon”, nominated for seven “Oscars” at once, have remained practically with no awards.
Martin Scorsese’s movie “The Departed” has won the name of the best picture at the Academy Awards. Martin Scorsese has also received “Oscar” for the same film in the “Best producer’s work” nomination. The “The Departed” scriptwriter has received an “Oscar” for the best adapted script.
Alan Arcin has received “Oscar” for the best execution of the second plan man’s role in “Little Miss Sunshine”. Hudson has been honored an Oscar for the best woman’s second plan role in “Dreamgirls”.
Gustavo Santaolalla – the Argentinean composer - won his second “Oscar” for “Babel”. According to Santaolalla’s words, “Babel” is a film, which helped people to understand better who they are and why and what they are born for.
