Scorpions in the Kremlin
5 March 2007Scorpions - is not only one of the most esteemed in Russia hard-fatal groups, but it is also one of the first fate-celebrities, honored to arrive to Russia in days of reorganization, publicity and acceleration. In 1988 the group has given 10 concerts in Leningrad, and next year played “Luzniki” together with Bon Jovi and Motley Crue. In 1991 the president of the USSR Michael Gorbachev has accepted Scorpions in the Kremlin.
And since then Scorpions with an appreciable constancy go to Russia. However, the group did not play the high-grade electric program in Moscow for already ten years. Therefore in the Kremlin palace the group has played concert without special work. This concert can be named as “family concert” - one of those concerts where the parents can take their children without fail. The group has arrived to Russia before the release of the new album which is expected in May. Scorpions did not practically play any new songs: the program was represented as a set of known hits plus two things from last album “Unbreakable”.
The concert started with such known songs as “Coming Home”, “Bad Boys Running Wild” and “The Zoo”.
Since “Always Somewhere” the group has passed to execution of the most popular things: “Holiday”, ” You And I “, “Lovedrive”, ” Tease Me, Please Me “, “Blackout”.
Having finished the mainframe of a concert a ” Big City Night ” song, Scorpions have sustained some time and have returned under a joyful roar of public to play encore the beloved songs - “Still Loving You”, “Wind Of Change”. And the concert finished with the victorious song “Rock You Like A Hurricane”.
