Paramount Pictures will continue “Forrest Gump” sequel release
8 March 2007Paramount Pictures is measured to continue of one of the most known 20-th century end films - “Forrest Gump”. As Aintitcool.com referring internal company’s resources informs, producers of an original movie Steve Tisch and Wendy Finerman have started studying the sequel’s script, written by Eric Roth in 2001.
The sequel is based on Winston Groom’s “Gump and Co” book story, telling about the adventures of Gump in 80 and 90th years. The main hero is broken and remains the jobless single father. He also traditionally becomes the involuntary participant of all known historical events of this period and he even meets Tom Hanks.
It is supposed, that the producer group will charge to Roth to finish the script in order to bring it into accord to modern requirements. The final term of the beginning of works on picture is not certain yet.
Let’s remind, that the original film, produced by Robert Zemeckis, has come on screens in 1994, at cost in 55 million dollars and has earned almost 700 million and has received six “Oscars”.
