Georges Michael, the author of hits ″Last Christmas″, ″Careless Whisper″, ″Amazing″ and many others, the singer, who sold more than 80 million records, is likely to have serious problems with the law. He is accused in being caught unfit to drive. The singer denies this version.
Other gossips touch the hearings about enormously high fees, ostensibly paid to singer Georges Michael on the New Year’s party of one of the Russian oligarchs, have apparently brought a deep amazement to the American show business dealers who came to the conclusion, that the sum was “strongly exaggerated”. As Dallas Austin-a well-known American producer- considers, the unprecedented sum of the fee of 3 million dollars is just a PR-course of the singer losing the former popularity. According to Dallas Austin’s words, Georges Michael has obviously decided to use popular hearings in the West about the unprecedented generosity of Russian businessmen, and the real sum of the fee was much less than 3 million dollars.
The producer has also strongly doubted that Georges Michael arrived to Russia specially to give this celebratory concert to three hundreds visitors of an oligarch. Austin said that Georges Michael dreamed to go to romantic travel to Moscow with the friend, and it is most likely, that this became the basic purpose of his arrival to Russia, and so exclusive concert at the party of the Russian businessman was just the detail of the trip.
