Richard Gere offers dinner for money
30 March 2007Hollywood actor has recently announced he would have a dinner with anyone who would offer him 13 thousand dollars for this “service”. The “Beauty” star invites everybody to have a meal in his still not opened restaurant.
Dinner with Richard Gere is one of thousand lots, exposed on charitable auction of Robert Kennedy’s Fund, the organization on the protection of human rights, established in 1968. The Internet-auction “sells” meetings with movie stars, politicians and sportsmen, and also participation in telecasts and even small roles in soap-operas.
The list of lots also includes walk on a set of “Desperate housewives” soap-opera and date with Robin Williams. Tickets for MTV awards ceremony, a meeting with designer Oscar de la Rent and visiting of a museum together with the former senator and astronaut John Glenn are also being offered. The lots in more habitual meaning of this word are represented with a guitar with Paul Simon’s autograph and Tina Turner’s dress.
