Beyonce and Jay-Z have bought an armchair for $40 thousand
3 April 2007The popular rapper Jay-Z and its not less well-known girlfriend Beyonce have bought rather extravagant subject of an interior. The star couple has bought a knitted armchair from Marcel Wanders for 40 thousand dollars.
Last week during stay in Miami Beyonce and Jay-Z have visited DesignMiami - an exhibition, consisting of 17 galleries of the most progressive and powerful designers of the world. The couple was looking for some extravagant furniture.
They were quite interested in new works of Marcel Wanders-Danish designer- who has got huge popularity owing to the collection of knitted subjects for the house within the last year. To the well-known couple chose the knitted armchair for 40 thousand the dollars, made of a white clap and epoxy pitches, which they bought for $40 thousand.
It is necessary to note, that Marcel Wanders creates perfumery bottles, jeweler ornaments, vases, furniture, fixtures and bags. He also projects interiors of restaurants, offices, shops, and in 2004 he was honored as “the designer of the year” by Blueprint - prestigious British design and architecture ideas magazine.
